Presented during the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the film “Megalopolis”, written, directed and produced by Francis Ford Coppola, and in which actress and friend of the House Nathalie Emmanuel plays one of the leading roles, is competing in the Official Selection. For this longtime project, the director drew inspiration from the story of the conjuration of Catilina, published in 43 BC by Roman historian Sallustius. The film explores universal themes such as power and corruption, transposed to the near future.
