Fran led Texas to a 34-0 NCAA championship victory before being drafted to the Women’s Basketball Association (WBA) in 1986, a league that unfortunately never materialized. She was later selected as an alternate for the American Basketball League’s (ABL) Seattle Reign in 1996 and became a member of the Houston Comets’ inaugural WNBA Championship team in 1997.
