Douglas Elliman Realty, one of the largest independent residential real estate brokerages in the United States, announced today that The Michael Lorber Team, one of the firm’s leading teams in New York City and the Hamptons, has officially expanded its business into the vital South Florida market, where it will begin servicing clients in Palm Beach.
Co-founded by Michael Lorber and Alexander Boriskin, the award-winning team is ranked #3 team in the Hamptons, #6 in New York City and #7 in the country. In addition to over $2 billion in closed deals to date, the team has earned a sterling reputation for superior customer service and record-breaking sales.
The team’s newly formed Florida contingent includes Adam Hofer, based in the Hamptons and Palm Beach, Palm Beach natives Chris Callahan and Liz Callahan, who were previously at Brown Harris Stevens, and Nathaniel Falcone, a New York native with family ties in Palm Beach.

Hofer, who oversees the team’s Hamptons arm, fell in love with Palm Beach while on vacation, so much so he ended up purchasing a home there the following year. Spending more time in the area, Hofer saw a need for an expansion to service many of his Hamptons clients who were interested in investing on the Island. “This gives us the opportunity to seamlessly service our respected clientele who share the same interest and love as we do for the lifestyle that South Florida has to offer,” said Hofer.
Lorber paved his success in real estate sales after procuring hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate transactions as an attorney. He joined Douglas Elliman in 2006 and has since earned coveted industry and press recognition, including starring in the first season of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York.
Boriskin has overseen more than $2 billion in sales and broken price records in buildings across New York City. Beyond Manhattan, his successful track record of sales extends to the Brooklyn and Hamptons markets as well as an extensive network in Miami and Palm Beach. With expertise that includes a profound understanding of changing markets, he is frequently quoted as a reliable source in the news media.
